April is here! For many athletes, this is a big transition month. The season is wrapping up. Tryouts are starting. And the off-season is right around the corner. This month, our focus is to help athletes finish strong, prepare with confidence, and start building the foundation for what’s next. Here’s what’s happening inside Blais Performance Online this month 👇 1️⃣ End of Season / Tryout Training This month includes 2 structured workouts focused on: • Speed • Strength 👉 Goal: Complete 1–2 sessions per week (before school, after school — whatever fits your schedule) We want athletes staying sharp, strong, and confident heading into tryouts. ✔️ Pre-Game / Tryout Warm-Up Session Use this before games, tournaments, or tryouts to: • Get your body warm • Get your hands sharp • Lock in your focus Because preparation off the ice = confidence on the ice. 2️⃣ Nutrition Join Coach Blais in the kitchen this month as we make a high-protein yogurt snack. A simple, go-to option athletes can use before: • Training • Practices • Games Fueling properly helps with energy, focus, and recovery, especially during busy tryout season. 3️⃣ Mindset Training – Train Your Mind to See Success This month we’re focusing on mental preparation for games and tryouts. Athletes will learn how to: • Visualize how they want to play • Build confidence before stepping on the ice • Stay focused in high-pressure moments Because success in big moments doesn’t just come from physical training… It comes from being mentally ready too.
