Your October Training! Hockey season is ramping up! Games, tournaments, early mornings and late nights! We know how busy these months can get, and we’re here to help you and your athlete stay strong, healthy, and game-ready. Here’s what’s happening inside Blais Performance this month: 1️⃣ In-Season Training This month at home training sessions are designed to keep athletes strong, balanced, and fast all season long. 👉 Your Goal: 1–2 sessions per week to maintain strength and speed without adding overload or causing burnout. Game-Day Prep: Check out our game day focused session, perfect for the morning of a game or between tournament games in the hotel. It’s a quick way to warm up the body and get dialed in before puck drop. Don't forget to tag us online when you complete a session! 2️⃣ Nutrition Focus – Tournament Fueling This month’s nutrition spotlight is all about tournament weekends. What to pack in your cooler for meals and snacks before, during, and after games so your athlete stays fueled and ready. 3️⃣ Mindset Training – Leadership Our mindset theme for October is Leadership. Athletes will explore how to show up as a leader for their team, both on and off the ice, by encouraging teammates, staying positive, and setting the tone every game. Let's get after it! Coach Dave
